Put this together in a flurry of excitement yesterday, having just outfitted my camera with a crazy lens attachment! Shot on the newly-opened Boardwalk at Exchange Place, in Jersey City. I wandered around and asked folks if they'd let me film them to test out my new lens - as usual, New Yorkers are super accommodating. Music is a song by Luke Temple, "People Do," which I've had in my head lately and seemed fitting for dramatic effect and the content. For you a/v nerds, this was shot with an HVX-200, with a Letus Extreme adaptor (with HVX-200 specialized kit). I was using a Nikon 50mm f/2, which I picked up at a second-hand shop in Rhode Island for just 50 bucks (!). I alternated between 24f and 60f (i.e. regular speed and 2.5x slow motion).
